AP Physics C Mechanics or AP Biology junior year?

I’m going to be a pre med in college, but I might major (or minor) in engineering or something related to engineering. What would be more useful AP bio or AP Physics C Mechanics junior year? I will be taking AP Calculus BC.

I heard AP bio is useless for pre med

Both are “useless” for premed in the respect that few med schools consider AP science credit as meeting the prereqs. So you will either need to retake the course in college, or take courses above the minimum. That’s not a problem with engineering, as you would need more advanced physics courses for the major.

Now, whether you can major in engineering and get the GPA needed for med school is a different question. But if your interest is engineering, AP Physics C makes more sense.

Of course, then you also have to think about which science class to take for senior year.

You need to take Bio, Chemistry and Physics in College for Premed.
Have you taken Bio, chem and physics during HS?
If not, make sure to take the one you have not.
If so, then I woudl take AP Chem if you haven’t.
If you have, then AP Physics C would be useful for both Premed and Engineering.
But I think that taking AP Bio to prepare you for Bio in college for premed would be better.
i think doing AP Physics C will be doable in college without taking it in HS.
