I'm in a dilemma right now. Although I've already taken four years of science (ap bio/bio/apchem/chem) I'm not sure if I should go ahead and take ap physics, or even take physics at all because it's during zero period and i dont think i can handle all the ap's (euro/gov/lit/calc/art hist)

So, should i take Ap Physics, or go with honors physics and take out euro, or not take physics at all?

It'd be really cool to get some help, my counselors aren't all that helpful.
Thanks.

How much do you like science? How much does European History appeal to you? You're schedule's tough enough that you don't need to worry about it looking "bad" to colleges anywhere, so figure out how much you care about each of these subjects and go from there.

If you're truly unsure, one option I might recommend is to sign up for AP Physics, and drop it in the fall if you feel that the workload is too much. (Provided that your school will let you do this, that is.)

my advice to you and i am fairly confident about this: you have taken a strong science courseload already. IF you plan on pursuing a science-based major in college and will need to take physics in college, i strongly suggest that you do take some sort of physics in high school. if you are going to take a different route in college and never have to thinka bout taking physics again, then don't take it......

well, that's the problem, I'm not sure what direction I'm heading, so I need a taste of all...
This is how my schedule looks right now...
AP physics
AP Lit
AP Govt
AP Euro
AP Calc AB
AP Art history

Considering a criterion on what's best for college and what's realistic:
1. Should I keep this schedule and die?
2. Should I take out AP physics altogether and follow my counselors advice and get a job?
3. Should I take out art history and put in a regular art class (but bring down my gpa) I need to take some art class because of Visual performing arts requirement..?
4. Should I take out Euro and replace it with Honors Physics?

I really would appreciate your response.
Right now though, I'm thinking about choice two, but I need feedback.
Thanks!

how about taking honors physics instead of ap? keep the schedule the same but substitue one level for the other. if you're not too sure if you want to go into a science direction, but want some exposure, this might be the best route. if you hate it, you won't be stuck in a higher level course...if you enjoy it, you'll have a foundation for taking future courses in college. :)

last year, i took ap bio, ap euro, ap bc calc, ap spanish lang, ap physics c, and ap lit...pretty managable courseload if i planned my time well. :)
