I'm in high school a junior and I'm planning to major in business. Schools I've been looking into are pretty competitive, such as NYU, UCB, USC, UCLA, Washington University in St. Louis. A definite super reach for me is Wharton or Columbia. So which AP classes should I take that would make me competitive for acceptance while also helping me in business? Thanks so much!

AP English for sure, you have good english skills for business. Also Stats and Calc help too. Having some kind of Government AP and History AP is good as well. Take a science one or two, but you don’t have to go too in depth.

Thanks, but could you also look at the top question, should I take AP Physics or AP Environmental and then AP Gov/econ or AP comparative politics/econ. I’m taking ap calc bc not stats. Still on the fence for ap english

I have same questions as you do and i looked up the selective college’s ap credit policies, found that AP Environmental is not accepted by some colleges.

Don’t take Environment, some schools don’t count it. AP Econ for sure, Gov would be my choice, but check schools’ websites to be sure.

AP Physics, not Environmental. AP Econ + Comparative would offer a broader view. However between AP Comparative and AP US Gov, both would work, so take whichever one you are likely to enjoy most.
