AP Physics VS AP Chem

Okay so in my school this is what people normally take:
9th- Honors bio
10th-honors chem
11th-AP Physics
12th-AP Bio or AP Chem

So what I did was
9th-Honors bio
10th-AP Bio

I want to go into the medical field and was wondering if it’s okay to take AP physics in 11th and AP Chem in 12th because that would mean no chem class at all until 12th grade. Would that look bad on college apps? Should I try to get AP Chem in 11th and take physics in 12th? Thanks.

No. Not having chemistry until the 12th grade will not look bad. Taking AP Chemistry without an intro chem course, however, will be a challenge. Not an insurmountable one, but know that you will be working your butt off to get a decent grade, particularly if your classmates had an intro course.

Okay thanks. Yeah I know it will be hard. I’ll try to learn the basics in the summer before I take it. Some of my friends did the same.
