for those of you who take AP physics B or C, how well does your class usually do on the tests in school? i'm taking physics B, and for some reason we always need a curve (sometimes a bigggg one) in order to get As. Is this normal? I'm starting to believe that Physics is essentially a "curved" subject.

yeah...our tests were very curved

my school only offers C, and it's known as one of the 3 toughest AP's here (ap chem and calc are the others). I'm not taking it, but I know most people aren't doing too well (and we're talking about bright, honors students). But then again, my school isn't that great to start out with. We never perform outstanding on much of anything, so a quarter 4/5s on the AP tests and a third 3's and then the rest are 1's and 2's

I haven't gotten less than a 95 on any of my tests.
No, they aren't curved.

My teacher usually has a very good portion of his class end up with 5's also.
