Although I know many people start threads like this quite frequently, I still feel obligated to start one of my own due to the massive publications of new prep. books for this coming school year. Next year I'll be taking AP Bio. and AP Calc. BC. Which prep books have worked the best for you? Please include your score, too. Plus, would it be best to prepare for both the SATII and AP Exam with one book? (e.g., using an AP Prep. book in preparation for the AP Exam and SATII or vice versa). Thanks in advance for any advice you may have to offer!

CliffsAP for Bio by Phillip Pack (peck?). I think most people won't argue against this. You don't even need Campbells if you have this.

I think the latest is the 2001 edition, so unless some major event occurs in the field of bio or a new version comes out, get this. Even if a new version comes out, get this.

Oh and Bio (this past year)- 5

^Agreed...and btw u DEFINETLY dont need campbell...especialy if ur stuck on the last few days/weeks.Campbell takes way too long to read so its not really worth it unless u start early or ur takin the class
Ps: AP bio-5; Used campbell...took FOREVER (Maybe like 200 hrs..) To read and it wasnt even the latest edition (4th..Much smaller then 7th..)..eventully used barrons (Finished all of it) and i used a lil bit of cliffs
My friend used ONLY cliffs and got a 5...
