AP preparation method

Hi, what would you guys say about using an open stax college book, edx course and a review book (Barron’s AP Biology 4th edition) to prepare for the AP Biology exam? Do you think this is a good method to prepare for the exam? What about AP Physics 1? For physics I use an open stax college book, two different edx courses, youtube videos and a review book (AP Physics 1 Essentials). I also use all the free practice questions I find online  . If there is anyone out there who is also self-studying APs, what is your method? What would you recommend? Thanks a lot!

I took the AP Physics 1 course last year, and I got a 4 on the exam by going through the entire Princeton Review book a few weeks before the test, watching lots of conceptual youtube review videos, and doing lots of problems that combined subject areas (i.e. kinetics and centripetal forces in a roller coaster loop). Watch out, the MC last year was EXTREMELY conceptual (I didn’t pick up my calculator once), and the FRQ was almost completely based on labs, which will be an issue for you. That being said, there is relatively little material to learn, but you have to master it. I know I could have gotten a 5 if I better understood those darn circuits. Let me know if you have any other questions. Best of luck to you!

Oh and another thing I forgot to mention is that knowing graphs and how the x and y axes relate to each other (what the slopes mean, how to interpret them, etc) is heavily tested, particularly with kinetics (velocity vs. time, etc).

Thank you so much fairagoura! I really appreciate your answers  Do you think that this https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqLWjxLu1G9bCTJi67BaNcJzFW_POBrmi (I found that recently) is a helpful tool to understand the labs? Thanks a lot again
