Hey, next year is my senior year and wanted to know for college admissions if I took a history course at a community college or an AP Psych course, which would be better for a history major? I am going be applying to the UCs (in state), USC, possibly Georgetown as well. Any advice?

Which course do you think would be more difficult and interesting? The history class might be good to take if you plan to major in history (the class might not transfer as college credit, though).

I don't think it really matters. I guess if you want to major in history the college class will be more interesting, and could show your passion better. Of course, psychology is also pretty useful with history, and the convenience + similiar peers + cost + friends factors are great. Personally, you have 4 years to take college classes. Savor the time in high school with your friends rather than taking a college class you'll be soon swarmed with. Unless of course, you don't have any friends.

I don't have any friends, so that won't be a big deal to me.... haha well yeah I do have friends who are taking Psych. I think I'm going to stick with Psych. thanks for your help guys!
