AP Psych v.s AP Spanish ?

Hey everyone, my friend recommended CC to me, and this seems like a good place to ask a question that's been bothering me. My counselor is overbooked, plus i'm the first one in my family to go through the american high school system, so i'm navigating the choppy waters as best as i can.
the question is this: for senior year (i'll be a junior next year ) would it look better for college to take AP Psych or AP Spanish Language? I'm in honors Spanish, and will be in honors next year also, but i don't really like Spanish. But i've read on admissions websites for selective colleges that they like four years of the same language. However, AP Psych is a class i've really wanted to take ( i wish i could take it next year, but i have to take journalism next year if i want a leadership position senior year.) Would you rather take a class that you're more interested in, or a class that would look better ???
i'm really confused right now, and i'ld love it if you guys could help me out !!

oh this must be a really hard choice for you. yes, it is HIGHLY recommend for ivies that you take 4 years of consecutive, same language (with at least 1 AP lang somewhere in there)...
so take AP spanish, but self study ap psych! its easy ~ (or take a psychology course at a community college nearby .. )

that sounds like a good idea... but the AP Psych program at my school is fantastic and the teacher is amazing from what i've heard.... aaargh. but AP Spanish is possibly a smarter choice. I'm already fluent in Chinese though, so wouldn't that kind of balance it out ?
thanks for your advice! i really appreciate it :)
