I’ve heard Barron’s is the best, but is there a difference between the CD-ROM one and not CD-ROM one?

Also, if I’m taking this class over the summer, would you still recommend the Barron’s book to use during the class (before the AP exam)?

This is my first AP, so I’m up for any advice!

Thanks.

I took the AP Psych test this year, and basically the barrons book is all you really need. I was intending to get the one with the CD, but ended up with the one without. The CD mainly has extra practice tests which I would say that the two present in the book as well as many of the section reviews are sufficient enough.

In all honesty, The test is just a big vocab test, I didn’t take a class for it, but if you feel a class would be more satisfactory then go with your decision and take it over summer. The barrons book gives you what you need without the any other unnecessary information.

Also, this was the 2nd AP test I’ve taken, AP Enviro was the first (On the same day XD)

Thanks so much! I’m actually really interested in the class, so even though I know I could probably self-study, I think a class will be more interesting. It’s also a great program at a college near where I live, and this will be my fifth year. I chose this class because I love the subject but not the way it’s taught at my school. Thanks again for the advice.

I did AP Psych as a self-study course this year, and I used 5 Steps to a 5, which I really did like a lot, so you could look into that too.

I’m planning to sef-study this course as a junior, is it do-able?

^Yeah, it’s a really easy self-study course. If you can easily memorize definitions, you’re fine…that’s all AP Psych really is.
