AP Psychology or AP Human Geography?

I’m a freshman planning my courses for next year. I plan on taking AP Chem, and AP World. I have room for one more elective, and I’m wondering if I should take AP Human Geography. Whichever one I don’t take, I’ll take during junior or senior year. Some people have told me Human Geography will help me with World, but I don’t know…

I would say take both. Both are easy.

AP Psych. It’s an AMAZING CLASS

Why are you taking AP Chem and not Honors Chem?

I would suggest AP Psych as that is the most likely to be able to transfer credit to college if you get a 4/5.

APHG is really interesting and introduces concepts that are really helpful in most social sciences. But as noted above, it is less likely to turn into credit in college.

Have you taken honors chemistry? It’s the first level in the sequence with AP chemistry being the second.
AP Human geography is relatively easy and applies to the world as it is (which is not common).

What are you interested in? I’d suggest APHG is you are interested in society as a whole, while AP Psych focuses on individual people. They are both fascinating, though, and even though I prefer AP Psych, I recommend them both. Would you be able to take one your junior or senior year?
