I plan to apply to UIUC for DGS and then transfer to their engineering department, but for me to even get in to UIUC I need to take "challenging" classes. Should I take AP Psychology or PLTW Biotech which is a engineering program for high schoolers?

I will graduate with a 3.2-3.3 weighted and unweighted with APUSH, AP Bio, AP Comparative Gov, Physics accelerated, many clubs as a leader, 100+ volunteer hours, sports, job and 26+ on ACT.

So again, based on my info. what would look better on an App.?

bump bump and bump

Please helppppppppppp

My DS is going through the PLTW Biomed program at his school and taking AP classes. his PLTW Bio classes are his most difficult classes, even more difficult than the APs. That is not necessarily the case for the PLTW engineering classes. OTOH, the program may not be as well-known by the admissions reps.
It is a shame that you can’t fit them both, since the AP Psychology is one that can free up a gen ed course in college, and the PLTW class can get you college credit (and is a challenging course.

Thanks. I dropped Biotech and added ap psychology…I so excited for next year!
