AP Psychology

I'm currently in a class called Psych 101 that is taught at my high school but on the curriculum of the University of South Carolina. I'm getting a pretty good background of pyschology, but I was wondering if you think I'd be okay taking the AP Psych exam with a little bit of self-studying? As in...with what I'm already getting and going through an AP Psych prep book for material not covered in class and 3-4 practice exams will I be set for a good score?

Comments welcome from current/past AP Psych students.

I studied from the AP Barron's guide for two weeks before the exam and got a 3. This, and little prior experience with psychology. It's definitely doable.
