So, normally when I need a prep book for my AP classes or the SAT, I hike on over to Barnes and Noble and shell out 25+ dollars per book in order to study...

However, I just happened to be in the book section of my local thrift store (Salvation Army) and I found tons of nearly new prep books in a variety of subjects. It almost looked like the test prep section of Barnes and Noble itself. They were all Kaplan and Princeton Review brand, and I ended up buying the following to use for next year (senior year):

Kaplan: AP English Literature
Kaplan: 2400 SAT Prep
Kaplan: AP Calculus AB/BC
Kaplan: AP Psychology
Kaplan: LSAT prep (idk why)
Princeton Review: SAT prep

6 books, which normally would've costed 130+ dollars, I bought from the thrift shop for 4 dollars. 4.00. 400 pennies.

SO. MORAL OF THE STORY.

If you need a prep book.
Go to Goodwill/Salvation Army/Savers

People drop off their prep books pretty often towards the end of the academic school year because they have no need for them. I suggest you take advantage of it. This is literally the greatest discovery I've made in a long time. I wanted to share this discovery with the CC community.

Cheers!
