I am a current sophomore. Our school makes us take 7 classes (this includes compulsory religion)
This year I am taking:
English 2 H
Precal H
Chem H
World History H (I also do MUN, this is a combo class)
Latin 2 H
Ancient Greek 1 H

For junior year I plan on taking:
AP English Lang
AP Physics C: Mechanics
AP BC Calc
AP US History
IB Latin HL 1
Ancient Greek 2 H

Senior year:
AP English Lit
AP Bio
AP Stats
AP Macroeconomics
IB Latin HL 2
IB Ancient Greek SL

I plan to self-study Physics C: E&M and Psychology for junior year and Microeconomics and Environmental Science for senior year. Is this schedule manageable? I also play two sports and will continue MUN.

Honestly I think it depends on how much time you will spend with your extracurriculars. I took 5 APs last year with an honors class. This year I am doing the same. I spend at least 3 hours after school doing extracurriculars everyday. I am managing to still get As in all of my classes. As a senior though I’m starting to wish that I would have taken 1 less AP class because it would give me that little bit of extra time that I want for myself and a lunch. A large factor is the amount of work that the teachers will assign. It’s really a matter of how much time you are willing and able to put into your school work at home.

^this is pretty unnecessary. i hear that most colleges don’t look too much into self-studying ap’s unless you do it a lot. And physics C e&m is tough. Your proposed schedules are very rigorous and just go for all A’s and get good ap/ib scores in those. Use the extra time to prep ACT/SAT/SAT II’s which are more important. And you could use time to devote urself more to EC’s. I highly recommend this but its up to you.
