<p>Can you put AP scholar awards on apps if you haven't officially been recoginzed but you know you are one? </p>
<p>And along with that, how do you get officially recognized?</p>
<p>I think CB notifies your school, and your school will present those awards in the end-of-the-year ceremony. Note that, however, your AP Score Report that is sent to any of the colleges that you have asked for will acknowledge this achievement.</p>

<p>So should a person list “AP Scholar” , etc. on their application under academic awards if they have not sent the scores to the colleges they are applying to?</p>
<p>Is it in bad form to list an award you will receive someday, but have not received at the time of the application.</p>
<p>Same question for National Merit Semifinalist. What if the student is above last year’s state cut-off score, but you won’t find out if you made it for sure till later this year.</p>
