AP Scholar Question

Today I got my ap scholar thing in the mail and I received "AP Scholar with Distinction". I am wondering why I didn't get "National AP Scholar".

I have taken the following exams:World History, US History, Biology, Chemistry, Statistics, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, English Language

and scored a '5' on every singe one.

For National AP Scholar collegeboard says: "Granted to students in the United States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams."

I have taken 8 exams and have a 5 average so was i supposed to receive National AP Scholar? Do they combine calculus and only count AB + BC as 1?

Thanks

Calc AB doesn’t count towards the award because of Calc BC. :(

The AB subscore doesn’t count as a separate AP score. It just tells you how you did on the AB parts of the test, which, since you’re taking the BC exam, is stupid in my opinion.

oh wow thats really lame. So i just missed it by one.

oh well thanks for the help
