AP Scholar award question

According to Colegeboard, if you have taken the AP Calculus AB test, it does not count towards any award. Is this true? My D took 5 AP tests (Chem, Spanish, History, Bio and Calc AB), with a 5 on each. However, she was given the AP Scholar with Honor award and not the AP Scholar with Distiniction.

Thanks.

It counts. It’s the AB subscore on the BC test that doesn’t count (along with subscores on music theory). She should’ve gotten scholar with distinction, so I would ask CollegeBoard about that.

Thanks. We called CollegeBoard, and the first rep gave this answer. We called again, and the second rep said that since one of the AP tests was taken last year, they sometimes take time to merge the results, or some words. This sounded hogwash to me. But, we will now forcefully pursue this with CB again.

apn00b is correct.

Did your daughter take those exams in 2 different years? That sometimes can cause a problem within CB’s system if the information from both years don’t match up exactly. If you’ve emailed or called the CB, then they should get it fixed soon.

EDIT: posted a bit late

yes, that was what they have told us now. They said they will send us an updated certificate in a week or so.

Thanks for all the clarifications.
