AP scholar?

I'm working on my application and I'm doing the honors section. Is being an AP scholar a state level of recognition?

I also have a question about awards in general. I feel like I don't really have a satisfactory amount for the schools I'm applying to. Basically the only honors I have are being an AP scholar, National Honor Society, the honor roll, a poetry slam award, and maybe a few more. My school doesn't really offer than many opportunities for awards and I've heard things like being on the principal's honor roll and being in NHS isn't really a big deal. Is this going to hold me back. I have tons of EC's... just no awards.

bump. (10 char)

I think it's national.

oh okay, thankyou.

bump, can anyone answer my other question?

Just communicate your passion(s) in your essay/resume and you'll be fine

It's national, but it isn't very hard to get, or very unique. It should be considered better than NHS, but in the same vein.

I know being an AP scholar isn't really unique, but I was the only one from my school and two of the AP tests were self studied. I guess that counts for something but I want to specify that on my app.
