I need some advice on what sciences it is better to take concurrently. I need to double up my sciences AP biology, chemistry and physics in two years. What two sciences should I take at the same time or which two would be the easiest to take at the same time. Of the three which one should I take all by itself. Thank you for your help.
I’d say only do it if you’re really good at science, meaning high A’s in honors bio and chemistry.
I’d say probably AP bio + AP physics 1 would be the best combination, because AP physics 1 is the first level on the AP physics sequence, so it’s a bit easier to tack onto the other one. AP bio has a a lot of memorization and AP chemistry is very complex. So, I’d keep AP chemistry to take by itself.
AP bio + AP chemistry are among the most time intensive AP classes (content, lab time) and many schools consider each is worth two periods. I’d strongly discourage doing both at the same time.
I am currently in AP Biology. I would suggest doubling up in AP bio and AP chem (AP Bio has chemistry in it)
