Hi all! I took two ap tests on my freshman year without preparation and got 3s. As a sophomore, I’m going to retake them after finishing actual courses at school. If I get 5 on both, do i still need to report my previous scores to colleges? or is it alright to report the better ones?
AP scores aren’t really used in admissions. They are self reported on the application and are optional, meaning you can just report the higher scores. The purpose of AP scores is to get credit and/or placement at the college you choose to attend and you’ll send your official results after you are admitted to the school you choose to attend.
