AP scores give units?

4’s and 5’s on APs give units or just placement?

What college did you get into? I'll pull up the scores/awards/placements for you.

warren, thanks!

You're welcome, davel ^_^

what's math10A/20A??

Doesn't UCSD accept 3's and up?

@infamy - math10A/20A are GEs. 10A counts as an elective if you take it, but 20A can count towards Math if you take that.

@haleyhales - For the most part, yes. I know Muir doesn't accept Stats unless it's a 4 or 5. I'm worrying about it, for some reason. I got a 4 last year on my Calc AB exam, but only got a high 3 on my Stats mock exam two weeks ago :{

one of my best friends took stats last year and he said the test itself was an easy 5 for him & from my experience all of the practice tests for any subject are MUCH harder than the actual test. another friend of mine said she got a high three on a practice exam about a month ago but she's certain with some studying that she'll do just fine - so if i was you i wouldn't be TOO stressed over it.

Haha. I'm not really stressing over it. It'd just be a little embarassing if I actually got a higher score on a Calc exam than a Stats one. :X

do you know if the units only apply/can only be used for the specifications listed after, or if they automatically can count towards units for graduation?

stat was pretty hard i got only a 4 maybe because i didnt study and my teacher was teaching stat her first year (but i think she did a pretty good job)

@davel - When going to school for your major, you have to attain a certain number of elective units. That's what the AP exams are mostly there for. Some of them just place you in higher classes and other do that along with giving you some credit, too.

@safewayrules - Hopefully, I can get the same score. I don't want to take that class in vain (I've been getting an easy A all year) only to not get credit for it in college.

my stats teacher purposefully makes the class hard, and it is absolutely impossible to get an A....I mean, she be like, oh someone has an A, I'm making the class too easy, then she'll grade everything harder or something so you have at the highest, a B.....almost all of the class has dropped out though by now, and only me and two other people have stayed in =/

you should get a hobo to (look at ^ Name) her

Got anything like that for Revelle, oyama?

http://revelle.ucsd.edu/aa/ur/chart/ap.html

There you go, mYsTiKLeGeNdZ. Enjoy :)

How about sixth college?

Or Marshall? :]

Ooh. I just came across something very convenient and nifty:

http://www.ucsd.edu/catalog/0506/front/APCredit.html

It gives you a chart for all the colleges :}

thanks Oyama! this is freaking leakin helpful =)
