Hey, all. I recently post this in the UNC section, but I was curious to see what parents would recommend.

I recently submitted my EA application to UNC, and I self reported the two AP exams I received fives on, but I did not list my other two tests that I didn't do as well on.

My question is should I officially send these scores from college board too or is self reporting sufficient? Also, should I send the other two scores even though I didn't self report them or do well on them?

Thank you!

IMHO, self-reporting is fine and if you get in, you will send them the official scores to get credit.

Be advised that if you lie about them and then they ask for the official scores, well…

No, I would not self-report the other scores. If you have to send them all officially after you get in, they can’t pull your acceptance if you got a 1 on an AP test.

Self-reporting is sufficient until such time as you decide which college to attend. After acceptance, send whatever scores you wish, since at that point, they will only be used to determine credit.
