I'm taking AP United Stated history this Friday, and do not intent on getting college credit (I'll probably get a 2 on the test.) My class has been a joke, yet I have eased by all year with A's..

If I don't report my AP Score (or if I do...) will this be taken into account (negatively) at schools? Or are AP test scores strictly for college credit, and not used in the admissions process?

Did you take the class? If so, they might think it's weird why you didn't "write"(not reporting an exam is basically the same as not having written at all) the exam when you have a solid mark right in your transcript.

Blah, sorry for the confusion above.. What I meant is I've been taking the class all year, and the test is finally this Friday.. My teacher has not prepared us very well for the test so I don't think I'm going to report my AP score....

I'm basically just wondering if AP scores play a role in the admissions process..

well you might as well put down your scores because i think you have to send them to the college or something... not really sure on this -.-;;

i think that ap's dont really play a role in getting INTO college.. it's more like once i get into college, will they give me credit for this class and exempt me from taking it? yeah, i think sat's are the ones that get you IN. -.-;;
