<p>When I was ready to take the Calc BC today... my counselor told me that I'm not able to take it today because they screwed up on ordering the test. But I'm gonna take it in May 19, the alternate test... </p>
<p>Anyway, will this delay my scores from other AP tests that I'm taking this year? because we have to send our score by July 15th.. but I put down Berkeley on my ap tests and let them send my result to them directly.. so... will taking late ap test cause any problem ???</p>
<p>I don’t think so. I took an AP exam last year for the late testing date and I still received my score prior to the start of the new school year (late August).</p>

<p>Oh dang, it might be a problem if the deadline is July 15th. I’m pretty certain the score arrived after that date. You should try calling in and asking about scores from late testing dates - I’m sure Berkeley will still acknowledge them if they’re in before the academic year starts.</p>

<p>Amusingly, though not in a good way, I had a similar problem with my AP Japanese test this afternoon. The testing materials didn’t work properly, so now I’ll have to make it up. If you find out more about exactly what to do with this, I’m also curious.</p>
<p>My son had to take a make-up AP exam last year. All of his scores arrived on time except for that one. That one was a little bit delayed but it was no problem. We emailed the contact listed on his My Berkeley page about the delay and she told us no problem. It showed up on his screen a few weeks after the rest but it didn’t impact his classes in any way. Now that I think about it, that may be because this was AP Stats. He took his AP calculus classes sophomore and junior year. If you are worried, just email Berkeley to find out what to do. They will be very helpful.</p>
<p>It is no problem. It’s not like they’re gonna make you take Math 1B instead of 53 because they didn’t receive the score in time…</p>
<p>Don’t worry about it. I made a big deal about it last semester, hand delivering my scores and checking up on the processing, but they still weren’t processed for about a month or more. </p>
<p>There really shouldn’t be any significant consequences to missing that deadline if there is no possible way for you to get it submitted by then. From all my talks with admissions, the big message is get it to them as soon as you can. They’re still processing stuff thru the school year.</p>
<p>Hard to worry too much about this particular requirement. The conditions of admission don’t require you to take any AP tests, only to have completed all the COURSES you listed and to achieve at least the minimum grades. </p>
<p>AP test results benefit YOU, giving you additional units and perhaps waiving some courses you would otherwise have to take. The deadline is more for processing and workload balance - to have all the input at hand to assign the work of entering the credits into your records. Since they generally won’t be done in time for Fall semester registration for incoming students, whether you are late or not doesn’t seem like it would have any impact on you.</p>
<p>Final transcripts, that is a different story.</p>
