<p>Hello, I repeatedly hear that AP scores are insignificant in the admissions process. However, has anyone here actually been admitted to Yale with exceptionally poor ap scores?</p>
<p>Not poor but my son was admitted with only one AP score in Biology (4). He did take 4 other AP classes this past year but just got the results yesterday.</p>
<p>Ace, did you do bad on your exam or something?</p>
<p>One of my close friends was admitted with several 3’s. They did come from a disadvantaged background, though; if other students at your school usually do well that may be a problem for you.</p>
