Ap scores

Ive heard a lot of kids have been able to access their AP scores through their respective college website. Is this true for UNC? I mean doesnt UNC already have our scores from collegeboard?

That’s might be true, but UNC homepages are down until August ):

Incoming freshmen who have been to CTOPS already can now see their AP scores by going to the StudentCentral page, Graduation Requirements Advising System, and Credit Summary.

Sorry to interrupt but…I’m a NC HS student and I’ve been hearing that UNC changed their AP credit policy, is that true?

yes, it has changed. now you can only get credit for two core courses in your major, but all other credit outside the major is still unlimited. but i have a question too. it says that you can have two courses in your major, and you can only get one course of credit in your minor, so if you have say a bio major and a chem minor, could you get two bio courses, and use the one minor credit on chem 101 which is a core course for a bio major? (sorry if that’s really confusing)

Thanks, I’m not sure how it would effect you in your situation but I would call UNC and find out.

Well I did what jen89 said, even though I haven’t been to CTOPS, and saw that I received credit for Psyc101, Bio101 & 101L, ENST202, and MATH231&232…

aside from the Maths, would any of those count towards a “foundation”, “connections”, or “approaches” course?..how do i find out what courses count as one of those?

Can you provide me the link to that page? I was on Student Central, but I don’t see Graduation Requirements Advising System, and Credit Summary.

Thanks!

Thanks for the link HHS310, Chapel Hill is still pretty generous with their AP credit policy compared to other top colleges.

JG595116,
Yes! Fortunately you still get to see what credits you have =) I just know a lot of us were dying to find out the exact scores haha.
You can see what courses fulfill what requirements on the undergraduate bulletin: http://www.unc.edu/ugradbulletin/requirements.html#jrsr</a>
Do an internet browser search (ctrl+F) to make it easier…

lottastrikes,
Have you been to CTOPS? I know some people who haven’t been don’t have the Graduation Requirements section… if you’ve been, look a little closer - it’s towards the middle of the page, two spaces above the “Cashier Services” yellow label. There’s no link, you have to do it through StudentCentral.

@lottastrikes: I clicked grades or grade summary on studentcentral…not what jen89ob said…

@jen89ob: thanks!

Thanks JG595116, that worked!
