Are transfer students required to send AP Scores? It's listed as part of my UCSD provisional contract, but I wasn't sure. It's iffy esp since I scored like a 1 for AP Stats and AP Environmental Science back in HS...

Not if they aren’t a 4 or 5, sometimes 3. The only reason I’m sending mine is because my AP Test scores waived some of the courses I had to take for GE/IGETC. Hope it helped!

general rule of thumb is to report all scores of any test they ask for. It should necessarily hurt you because they have no effect on your unit count as they are ones. I don’t recall anyone being rescinded due to AP Scores.

haha i got a 1 on AP stats too! my teacher let us have senioritis…i think his class avg was under 3. if you have any passes (or better) submit them, b/c they can probably help cover classes you need to take

^
Agreed. I wouldn’t waste $35 to get the official scores if not needed, lol.

…i would rather spend the money and send them in, even if they dont do anything, then risk breaking the contract.

how do we go about sending AP scores?

i think you can send from collegeboard(dot)com but i can’t really remember…

AP Stats saved my butt in math!

You have to call Collegeboard, wait on the phone for about one hour and then talk to someone. If you remember your AP number I believe it take like 15 mins.

does collegeboard send it to the college for you or are we supposed to send it to the college ourselves?

i feel like i did it all online? no?

Maybe you did do it all online, I did it over the phone last time.

And yes you do just send it to the college or you can walk it to the, but you can’t open the envelope.

You do not need to send Official AP scores for tests lower than 3. I work for Undergraduate Admissions here at Cal and we were told told to throw out any scores that didn’t have a 3 or higher. It doesn’t make sense for the schools to ask them from you when they will not affect anything.

Hope this helps.

PS-I recieved a copy of my AP scores by going on Collegeboard and asking for an official copy to be sent up here.
