AP Spanish Literature.....anybody taking it ?

I was just curious and wondering who is taking the exam this Friday.

No, I took Spanish Language, but I am interested in self-studying it (my school doesn't offer the course.) How difficult do you think that would be? I am not a native speaker but I am very good at Spanish.

If you are motivated then I suggest you take it. It is difficult, but not impossible. Its almost a replica of English AP. It involves some heavy reading. Check on the collegeboard site for a full description of the course. How well did you do with the Language test?

There is a site out there that links to all of the required texts online:
<a href="http://www.geocities.com/apspanishlit/%5B/url%5D">http://www.geocities.com/apspanishlit/</a>
When I took this test, I thought it was easy, but apparently ended up with a 3, so I must have screwed up somewhere in the exam.

I'm taking it

Do you need to use one of the required text for the essays?

I'm taking it tomorrow as well.

We're using the Abriendo Puertas Tomo I/II for the course, and it includes all of the required reading. From what I know, one of the essays will include a theme and a list of around four of the readings, and you have to pick two and write an essay with those about the theme. Another essay includes a passage from one of the texts and you have to analyze a critical commentary about one of the texts given.

I'm taking it as well... and yup, here in CT we're using Abriendo puertas Tomo I/II as well. Best of luck to everyone!

I took it today :) It went amazingly well!

and I read all of the required reading yesterday wahooo
