AP Spanish Literature

Anyone have any clue about what stories they're going to ask us about on the exam? Any predictions? Also, what is the general difficulty level going to be like?

Anyone know? Bump.

I have a question for you~ I want to take spanish lit next year. Is it really hard for a non native to pass/read the books?

^With effort, no.

I'm a native speaker, and even I had difficulty for some of the stuff we read. If you do take this course, just make sure you take your time and do not try to speed read. Make note cards for every story (noting the genre/time period, characters, ambiente, 50 word summary, theme(s), and literary techniques). I did the note cards and I'm just going to review them a bit tonight so I can feel a little more confident going in to the essay. As long as you put forth the effort, you will do fine.

We don't have a AP Spanish lit class at our school. Its basically self study. I am not sure if I will be able to keep up especially since I am already starting to see the signs of senioritis.

Good Luck with your exam tommorow!

The essay will be sheer BS written in terrible gringo Spanish. I have unfortunately, failed to read anything in my feeble attempt to self-study this course, and will surely flounder once they ask me about particular pieces. I mean, say I were to flunk the part where they ask me about pieces from the assigned readings list. Could I still pass if I were to do well in my analyses of the other passages they provide for us?

If you have taken the AP Spanish Language examination before your senior year, (and if your school doesn't offer AP Spanish lit) I'd recommend you to take a Spanish lit class at a local college through dual enrollment. It's MUCH easier without all that AP stress.

It sounds easier! But its really expensive. I think I will just not do it. Want to have a relaxing senior year. Thanks

I'm not looking forward to this exam... I hope they will include pasages from whatever story/novel they question us on.... Because I didn't take the time whatsoever to memorize names and titles...
