Hi, I'm in AP Spanish (Language), and I have a really terrible teacher. The class is more or less a free period for me every day, so I'm really worried about how well we're being prepared for the AP exam. Does anyone know where one can get free released tests? Also, what is/are the best book/s for AP Spanish, particularly for vocab? 5'ers, I need your help. Thanks.

basically, anyone taking ap spanish this year is screwed.
they changed the format (thus there are no old tests to study from)
they have not released practice tests
none of the prep books are updated

so this year.. exam format is completely changed?
wow.. i am screwed.. my teacher sucks as well..
we do nothin in her class and my spanish isn't that great..
did anyone her get 4 or 5 on Spanish Lang exam ?

Actually, I don't know if they're really changes. I was looking at AP Central, and they're apparently changes in administration not the test itself. Or maybe I'm wrong (cuz I'm not familiar with the old test either). Anyone have some advice for what to study?

cooljoe-there are def. MAJOR changes to the format.
spanish teachers around the country are ****ed at college board.
honestly, there is not much to study since its new.
has the teacher not told you about this? does she even know? go talk to her about it.

look online and find a book that says it specifically adresses the format changes of 2007.

ex. of changes
-integrated skills
-simulated conversations
-formal oral presentation
-long essay integrating listening and reading.

ITS SO HARD ahh

The only good thing about the changes are that everyone will do horribly so there will be a nice curve. I'm in a competitive school and our teacher says our goal is 50% on fill ins and multiple choice.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, emily. Would you mind sending a link describing all these changes? That would be much appreciated.

My teacher is so bad she had no idea about the changes...Is it really true that they eliminated the error section two years ago? I'm stuck in the past, lol
