AP Spanish?

I've skipped Spanish 2 and went straight onto Spanish 3 as a sophomore. I'm doing extremely well in the class. If I do not take AP Spanish next year (in order to get three years of foreign language as recommended by the UC program), how will that affect my chances of getting in? Does it matter? Should I take AP Spanish next year?

EDIT: My school goes 1, 2, 3, and then AP.

If you need 3 languages take AP Spanish. My School University completer program only requires 2 foreign languages classes. If you’re good in Spanish go ahead and take it.
