AP Spanish

Hi.

I might take the Spanish language exam. I'll probably get a 4 or a 3. The only reason I'm doing this is to get out of the foreign language requirement. Korean is my native language and started learning English from the age of 9. I took Spanish for 4 years and got A's for 3 yrs and B's this year (because it's AP). I took Korean SAT2 and got 790. Would I be then exempt from the foreign language requirement or would i still have to get a 3/4 on the AP exam to be exempted?

Thanks

(btw the colleges im waiting to hear back are cornell berkeley yale and stanford...if you have any info on GE's over there plz share thanks)

Most schools won’t accept a high score in your native language as evidence of proficiency in a foreign language. Taking the Spanish exam is likely your best shot at an exemption.
