AP Statistics and AP Microeconomics/Macroeconomics

Hi! Can anybody tell me what high school level math I need to know to prepare for these exams when I use some books and what math I need to know after I finish using the books or finish preparing for the exams in order to get scores of 5 in all of these exams?

At least Algebra 2 for Stats....not sure about the AP econs, but probably Algebra 2 as well.

It depends on the econ. Macro has a lot less graphs than Micro, but you need to be comfortable with things like that to take either of them. I don't know the exact math class you need to take because I'm not a US student....

For Macoeconomics, you need to know how to divide and multiply. Period. The math you use is very elementary - certainly nothing I've learned during the past four years of high school.

taryn: Even with the graphs?

For the graphs you either know the derivative curves are and you use that to do min/max or you just remember the intersection of a and b is whatever, there are like 5 of these total to remember.

Micro/macro econ- no clue
stat- algebra 2 is more than necessary
