AP Statistics Formulas

Okay, so I am aware of the fact that CB gives you a formula sheet for the exam. But what formulas don't they give you that you need on the test?

In essence, what formulas should one memorize for the exam?

Can CC'er who have taken the exam compile a list of formulas to memorize please. It would be very helpful, seeing as how a lot of CC'ers self study AP Stats (or take the class).

you can go on the college board website and you can get a list of formulas that they let you use during the test.

that's not what i'm asking for...but thanks anyway.

can we get a list going please?

well just go off of what is not on the list.

I seriously doubt (and hope) that we don't have to memorize every statistics formula that's not on the list provided by CB.....that's why I want CC'ers who have taken the class/exam to compile a list of important formulas that need to be memorized...

um the formulas that CB gives are general guidelines. our teacher had us memorize about two dozen inferential stats formulas. they were given in one packet. in reality most of the formulas look very similar and choosing the correct test is often more important. unfortunately, i threw all my stats stuff out last year.

if you can decipher when to use all of the hypothesis tests and confidence intervals then you'll get a 5

The binomial formulas are on there, but the geometric ARE NOT. Also, bsub0, bsub1, all Probability formulas(i think), standard deviation, and mean i belive are on the formula sheet.
