AP Stats.. Formulas for Test Statistics in Tests of Significance

I know we get a sheet with formulas, but do they give us the test statistic formula for each type of significance test? (Z-test, T-Test, Chi-Squared Test..) For instance if we have to do a T-Test for the difference of two means, will the formula for finding a T-Value for that particular test be provided?

And if they do, do they tell us which formula goes with which test?

The first few pages are the formula given. Unfortunately, it doesn’t state which formula is which type. So, you really have to recognize which is which, but it should be obvious if you have gone through the tests thoroughly in class or in your studies.

Ahh but on Pg. 5 is DOES say which formulas go with which test. That’s what I was asking about.

Thanks man.

Oh, I guess the single-test and two-sample test can pretty much tell you which is which then if you know t-test is for mean and z-test is for proportion. Well, I will take note of that when I take the exam.

and you’re welcome. Good luck on the AP exam.
