I'm a senior this year, and I decided to self-study AP Stats. At first, everything was going well. Then, in October, I started slacking off. I kept telling myself to get my act together and study, but something would always come up. It's February now, and I'm WAY behind. I don't know what to do now. Is there still enough time for me to start over and catch up? The test is on May 9th!
Thank you in advance!

Yes, but you really need to put together a concrete plan to get back on track. Do you know anything about stats already? Did you buy review books or text books?

The key to AP exams is to know what will be covered on the test, and work on that, not to know the subject entirely.

The book I have (Stats- Modeling the World 3rd Edition (by Bock, Velleman, and De Veaux)) has 29 chapters. If I work on each chapter for two days and then use the last month or so to review, would that be a good plan?

Is this class taught at your school? If it is, see what chapter they’re on and ask the teacher for help.
If it isn’t taught, try getting the AP review book, and like rhandco said, know what’s on the test. If you’re only taking this for the credit, trying to master the subject in such a short time period would be a mistake. If you’d rather have a better understanding, skip the test.
What chapter are you on now? I haven’t taken stat, but my understanding is that while the concepts are generally not as difficult as some other maths like calculus, it is still a rigorous course. Two days seems a bit short. Try putting in at least an hour each day, with significantly more on the weekend. Don’t move on just because you have to get it done, move on because you understand it.
Also, remember: college stat would be done in just one semester. If they can do it, so can you!

I’m starting to self-study for AP Stats now, so you’re ahead of me.
