does anybody have a sheet that just straight up lists all the statistical inference tests, the assumptions (np <= 10, n(1-p)<= 10, etc etc), and the conditions you use them in (you have the population SD, you have the sample SD, you have two samples, etc etc)?

geez... you'd think something like this would be easy to find, but i can't find any comprehensive list of the stat tests that we need to know for the AP. if i get these down and can recognize them quickly, i should easily get a 5.

or can someone just type them out real fast, if you know them?

yeah same here please!

Same here... I'm giving this a bump.

I agree. The only thing I need to study now is what assumptions go with what tests.

Just search AP Stat. and then read through posts. I'm certain I've seen one somewhere on here.

Less than 2 days until AP Stat. Any last minute studying tips?

if you find it post it here...omg

I get this sheet during each test... shouldn't it come with the AP tests?

but does it list assumptions and all that stuff? i don t think so but i may be wrong

download the sample test from collegeboard, they attached with it. I think they give out the sheet in exam~

The Barron's review book has an entire chart on that and it's pretty damn helpful.

I have the MC down but today is the last day I have to study and it's FRQ time. Damn I hate FR. How are you guys studying for it?

i've still had no luck looking, so i figured we could just make one if you guys are on board.

i came up with a series of questions to ask yourself to determine what test to use. i know its kind of confusing, i will maybe make it into a web later and upload that:

Statistical Inference and Hypothesis Testing

Question to ask yourself:

A) Univariate stats (just the regular old single variable stats) (B) or Distribution of values (a table or matrix or something) (C)?
B) Do you have the population σ? Yes (D), No (E)
C) This is a chi-squared test. Is there a 2- way table (H) or are you comparing two dist's (I)?
D) This is a z-test. Is the data a proportion? Yes (F), No (G)
E) This is a t-test. Is it one sample (J), two samples (K), or a regression (L)?
F) Are there 2 samples (M) or one (N)?
G) Are there 2 samples (O) or one (P)?
H) Chi-squared test χ2
I) Chi-squared goodness of fit test
J) T-Test
K) 2 Sample T-Test
L) Linear Regression T-Test
M) 2 Proportion Z-Test
N) 1 Proportion Z-Test
O) 2 Sample Z-Test
P) Z-Test

every test H through P can be found under STAT:TESTS in your calc, you just have to know how to identify them and its easy from there.

wow blu_g8orade and JustThisOnePost both of your summaries help a lot. thanks :)

for some reason i feel like i am still going to fail

Nah, you won't. I got a 48% on my first practice MC Thursday and after the weekend I upped it to 85%ish. It's just reviewing concepts and becoming familiar with the layout of the test.

I hope you all fail. So the curve is easier :D.

Actually I'm just kidding. I'm sure you all will do well, after all, this is CC. I on the underhand will need some divine intervention.

On the free response, if i don't know something i am going to put : "What is the probability of me passing this test? Close to 0...."

JustThisOnePost, thank you so much for those sheets :)

yea thanks..they really help

test in less than 2 hours
OMGOMGOMGOMGOGOMG

The first word popped up in my mind after I handed in the exam was RESURRECTION!!! >"<
Hope everybody did well on that~
