AP Stats Summer HW -- Please HELP!

<p>SO Teacher gave us a small AP Stats. Summer Assignment using the calculator and I can't figure it out..can anyone help me?!:</p>

<p>Graph these pts. using a [0,20] x dimension and a [0,16] y dimension [I know how to do the dimensions]</p>

<p>BUT I CAN'T DO THIS PART?!?! on my TI - 83 Plus:</p>

<p>GRAPH THESE PTS.:</p>

<p>a) L 1 = 0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 7</p>

<p>b) L 2 = -|x-3| + 4</p>

<p>c) (L 3 , L 4) = these points: (7,0), (8,2), (10,2), (14,0), (16,2)</p>

<p>Can anyone show me how to do a) , b) , & c) ? please?</p>

<p>don't suppose any one knows how to use a ti - 83 + ?</p>

<p>a) do 0 <= x in one spot and x<=7 and just draw the spot where it overlaps</p>

<p>b)there's something on the calc that looks like (abs) that is the absolute value button. i forget where it is though; maybe under math. </p>

<p>c)i don't know how to graph points...that's stupid - it's not like it's especially difficult to do by hand...it sounds like your teacher gave you a bunch of stupid busy work</p>
