This week (Spring Break) is crucial for my AP Studying. But I can't get myself to study anything. I'm not motivated. I'm not going to have time to study over the next couple of weekends and the weekdays are going to be horribel as well--so much homework. BUT HOW DO I MOTIVATE MYSELF. I've already wasted 5 days of my Spring Break.
=(
I stress about it, but I still can't get myself to study.

HOw many days do u get for Spring Break by the way? I'm in a similar situation. Well, just try to think of both the pos. and neg. outcomes of the AP test, it can work.

yeah, i know what you mean. I went out last weekend and bought 4 review books. Read 50 pages in one of them and got bored. Spring break ends tonight, and i still got 4 tests to study for :(

Waoh! That's a REALLY heavy load! START STUDYING! that workload is enough for motivation (I guess) Try to get anxious abt what will happen if u get 0s in all those! (ain't gonna happen but still!)

Take whatever subject you're strongest in and study that first. I think that it's almost sheer overwhelmingness in your situation. If you have released exams, it really helps just to look through them and work out each individual problems. I always hesitated with review books because it was always in the back of my mind: "Do these people really know what they're talking about?"

Motivate yourself either positively(I'm going to get 5's if I study and get into the college of my choice!) or negatively (If I don't study, I fail.) Both of them work for me and get me off the couch.

ok so pace yourself and spend the remaining amount of time you have for spring break reviewing..........
even if it is boring, think of the future when you'll hopefully have 5's and you'll look back to this moment and say I spent my spring break in a good way.
and reward yourself for every time you study...lol..........that always works

thanks for all the awesome tips!
reward system doesn't work for me though. i always end up rewarding myself more than i should be (like watch tv 15 minutes if i read for 45 minutes, and i end up watching tv for an hour or more)

The same thing happened to me. Break ended and I accomplished nothing, but I think it's mostly because I wanted to finish EVERYTHING. Basically, don't try to finish all of it, be realistic. It starts with wasting 5 days and before you know it break will end. Work on one thing at a time, take breaks if you want to, don't procrastinate, try to finish what you can, but if you try to attack all of it you'll keep saying to yourself "self, I watched tv today but tomorrow I'll make up for it by working from 5:00-9:00" or whatever. Make a schedule now with enough room in it, don't try to discipline yourself by cramming 20 hours of work into one day. You might not notice it, or it might not be your case, but it's really easy to delude yourself and feel so overwhelmed because your trying to do so much at once. You'll still be able to get a little bit of work done after school starts, so for now just be realistic and do what you can when you can. Trust me.

That's good advice ambrino123.
OP, I'm in a similar situation: I'm trying to review for 3 AP exams while self studying 2 more, and I've got SAT II Math IIC on the back of my mind. I also procrastinate, saying to myself that I'm going to do it all tomorrow... but you know how that ends up. What I'm doing is trying to finish all the hw that I can that will be due after school starts so I have more time to study on school days.
