My problem: I was planning on self-studying for 2 AP tests (Comp Sci A and Microeconomics), but when my school started a couple of weeks ago, my counselors at my school told everyone that our school would no longer accommodate students who self-studied for testing in May. I NEED to take these tests this school year, so I really need tips on finding schools that would be willing to accommodate outside students. (I have already contacted AP Student Services at College Board for contact info of local schools’ AP coordinators, but those who have replied back said they don’t have the resources to accommodate outside students). If anyone has experienced this type of obstacle or found a way to take AP tests at outside schools when they weren’t offered at your home school, it would really help if you could share some advice.
That’s all you can do. You need to widen your geographic radius until you find a school that will accommodate you. No school is obligated to accommodate - their school, their rules - but many do. You don’t need to continue doing what you’re doing.
