AP Test Policy

<p>Hi, I am a junior right now and in 1 month I will be taking my SAT, English AP, US History AP, and Compsci AB AP. This is going to be the first time that I take an AP test and I was wondering what UT @ Austin's policy is with AP credits.</p>

<p>Does the score you make on an AP test get averaged into your GPA or do you just get some sort of credit for the course? This has me very concerned and I would appreciate any help with this.</p>

<p>No you just get credit and it doesn't impact your GPA. It used to but not anymore.</p>

<p>Depending on what score you get on each AP, you can get credit for a certain class or for a certain number of hours. Here's their website on AP credit:
