Anyone? One teacher has said Vietnam. I have also heard civil rights.

do some research for youself, and find the last five years worth of essays on collegeboard, and that's what it's not

My teacher predicts Vietnam also. I wouldn't mind that...

I heard post WWI

my teacher thinks dbq will be progressive era

my teacher says the 60s

my teacher says dbq will be the gilded age and the free response will post 60s

I'm positive it will be one of these two:

A) Transition from Gilded to Progressivism
B) 60's

It apparently has been a colonial DBQ for the past 3 years. Me thinks the War of 1812...

Vietnam and Civil Rights were on it last year. Part C had 2 options and in the second option, you could write about either Vietnam War Protests, how the Civil Rights Movement affected the US, or about Women's Rights Movements in the 1970s.

Civil rights and women's rights would be pretty easy.

Definitely hit up the college board website, guys. It's a lifesaver. My hunch is at least something to do with the progressive era, since it's been neglected for so long. Vietnam, the tumult of the 60s, and the colonial era were all covered last year (I took it and got a 5), but of course there's no guarantee they won't show up this year also. (Pretty important time periods!)

My teacher last year predicted a Progressivism DBQ at our last review session, but on the day of the test ran around the school telling people that his new guess was the Revolution, and goddamn, he was right (He's gotten a fairly accurate guess five years in a row). So I'd say the Progressive era is still a likely option.

DONT LISTEN TO YOUR TEACHERS....seriously. Last year, my teach said that they really never do around the same area twice..so she said it would most likely not have anything to do with the revolution/colonial period. Well guess what that ***** was. Yea, study for anything and be prepared...she was going around the next day saying thats never happened in her 20yrs of teaching, blah blah...well it cost me a 5.

So what is everyone thinking now?

My teacher says not to rely on her predictions 100%, but her other APUSH teacher friends are all predicting the Progressive Era as well. I think maybe the events leading up to the Civil War may be very possible as well.

I dont think essay prediction is a good idea if you're cramming.

Progressive seems like a top pick. Gilded age is always stressed to. Does anyone know the last time these topics appeared on the exam
