My AP US history teacher has assigned us a research paper that has to be 15-18 pages minimum, and its due June 11. Anyway, our topics are due Monday and I don't really have any ideas. So any ideas would greatly be appreciated!

lol, wwii .

That sucks. The longest research paper I've ever written was only 6-7 pages. I never had to write any papers in APUSH, I guess I got off easy.

Anyway, I don't really know the requirements/format of your paper but you could probably find enough information to write about the causes and effects of any war. Other topics I can think of include: Reconstruction, Progressive Era, Populist Era, Cold War, and Great Depression. All of these topics have tons of stuff written on them.

Wow you have school until June 11? We get out May 24.

I would say you could trace the development of something through history. That might be a bit more involved than doing an era, but it might be easier if it were something you were really interested in or passionate about. For instance, the evolution of environmental policy or attitudes, public health, treatment of native americans, immigration policy/treatment, farmer-government relations, etc. Good luck!

Wow, how weird...I have an open-prompt US History essay due on June 11th also. Our topics are due Monday as well, hahaha.
The topic I chose was "Reflection of American Society in Its Music"
I will be writing about jazz, blues, British Invasion etc. all the way up to modern music.

Good luck!
