I’m going to self-study US Government this year and I was wondering if I should purchase a textbook? If so, any recommendations?

You will do nicely with AP US Gov crash course + a review of the past 10 years of FRQ’s

Learn what casework is and the 24th amendment lol

Larry Krieger has written a nice crash course that you can find on amazon. I read it all the night before the AP, took 8 hours, and I got a 5. However I also had the best teacher in America and could’ve scored a 5 without any review…

But anyways. Read that book a ton of times. It literally has the answers to every question. It’s almost uncanny. I also recommend you read other stuff just to get the hang of it first… but I seriously think that if you read his book at least 3 times, you can at least get a 3 or 4…

I have Princeton’s Review and I’ll probably purchase the Crash Course as well.

For some reason princeton review for GOV is popular around here, idk why but I thought it was trash. Stick to Larry Krieger!

You don’t need your own textbook, just use the one your school provides and REA Crash Course by Grand Master Larry.

div301, I too confused the 26th amendment with the 24th amendment, yet I still got a 5.
