I took the AP US history exam today
And the dbq topic was on something that my class never got to -it was near the end of the curriculum , and even the REA crash course book didn t have anything on it
Thankfully it was a dbq not an essay question, so I just took the documents and made up some supporting outside info that was pretty evident from the title/author of the documents. I answered the question, although I kind of guessed and based my answer on prior historical events that were similar to this one . I came home and searched it up and realized that I not only gave slightly wrong outside info on one document, but didn t answer the question historically correctly.
I did include a concession, well developed thesis, connection to another time period and attempted a synthesis though…
How harshly do dbq graders score essays ? Would I be able to get some points for at least including these elements although my info was not all accurate ?
DBQ is 25% of the exam grade. So gg
