On the AP US History Free Response answer booklet where we were supposed to write our answers to the DBQ and the two other FRQs, near the bottom of the cover there were 4 bubbles where we were supposed to bubble in the questions we answered (I'm not talking about the answer sheet), were we supposed to do that in pencil or pen?

I did it in pen, because I didn't think they would scan the free response answer booklets, and also the fact that our proctor didn't give us complete instructions on how to do this.

So, what did everyone else do?

I'm in the same boat as you. I went over it in pencil later, but yeah, it doesn't make sense for them to scan the booklet so I think it'll be okay.

you guys, they were supposed to tell you to use a #2 pencil -____-...

good luck...

i think it does make sense cuz they might scan the booklet to sort them out more quickly

our proctor told us to go over it again in pencil if we already used pen there.

Oh, ****. I don't think I filled in the ones on my free response booklet. My proctor didn't mention it at all, and I completely forgot about it. I filled it in on the answer document, though. I hope it gets graded....

Wow, I'm going to be so mad if it doesn't. I'm not even joking. Somebody will probably die.

scantron machines pick up pen ink also. the only reason they tell u to use pencil is cuz u can erase it

everyone in my school used pen

they told us to

They told us to use pencil on all the bubbling here.

AHH! I didn't even know there was bubbles to fill in at the bottom! I circled which question I was answering at the top of the page, but I didn't fill in any bubbles...I don't think anyone else at my school filled in bubbles either. Will it still be graded?

im pretty sure they said if you dont fill it in they may be delayed but that might of been for something elswe.
Oh i used pen and funny i also asked during the exam but the proctor didnt know so she said uh whatever, but i was also in a hurry to get to my next exam, LOL

You were supposed to use a pencil to fill that part in...my proctor specifically told us to do so.
