M.C. was easier than expected. I went with essay 3 and 4. With one of the optionals I found it really easy to tie the two different topics you were supposed to address and I'm hoping tieing the topics together is bonus points.

I know what you mean. Can someone allay my fear and tell me that FRQ #3 was in relation to Post Civil War?

southwest it is

Bah! Can't say...still not 48hrs. I did 3 though and I think I hit all the major points.

thanks...I feel alot better!

yea, CW and post CW (61-77)

Thank god. Saw on Sparknotes that someone used the Mexican American War for Westward Expansion and was struck with an irrational fear.

Using the Mexican war makes sense in that context. Why did that bother you?

not really since the mexican american war was before that time period...

man i need to stop thinking about us history...the test is over, we arent doing anything more in the calss, i wont get my scores until...august basically

sigh

Argh, I wrote about the wrong time period for #5 too!! I double-checked my history book afterwards and I got really annoyed... The only thing that I got right from that time period was probably rock and roll, Elvis, and James Dean.

I'm positive that I had at least decent info from the '60s though...

I know this question's been asked before, but there's been no answer yet... Does anyone know how much an essay on the mostly the wrong time period though with correct info from that time period will cost us? As in, any score estimates for such an awful mistake?

I have no clue and there really hasn't been any attempt to clarify this. I did the same thing and I would like to know since I got a 130 on 1999 test my teacher adminstered last Sunday. Is a 4 on that particular essay too much to hope if I had 3 1/2 pages of solid info, albeit a few years off? Can anyone provide examples of people who had similar mistakes?

What did ppl talk about for number 2 if anyone did it? (Civil War)

And I'm surprised no one here seemed to mention for number five, in civil rights, how Eisenhower desegregated the military and Little Rock, AK in '57? Haha, I didn't do that essay 'cause all i remembered were beatniks and zootsuiters.

i talked about desegregation attempts and southern backlash, greensboro sit-in (and other forms of non-violent protest), brown v. board of education, etc. for civil rights.

for intellectuals i wrote about betty friedan and beatniks and one other thing i can't remember haha.

For the Southwest, I didn't really talk specifically about that, but I talked about how things like gold caused the Spanish to move to California, New Mexico, and Colorado. This also let to mass conversions.

hey,

what percentage on the test do you need to pass?

I don't know...but 70 percent is a 5

i kinda messed up intellectuals too, i think i talked a lot about youth lol

I have the tendency to omit like 10+ questions on everything. I guess I have a mental cautious-ocd disorder.

I LEFT 25 BLANK, 1 FRQ (intro 1st body) IMCOMPLETE!!!

Dude, can I expect a 3?? DUDE, Im going to die.

_GOD BLESS I COULD GET A 4

you guyz are scaring me..

I thought the multiply choice was okay.

THe DBQ was stupid, I didn't know how to organize it and i had such a hard time trying to use outside information. The other two weren't that bad. But i couldn't think for the first hour and ended up writing three essays in an hour.
