Hey... like many of you, I will be taking the AP Exam in May, and the SAT II the day after! (Yikes!).

I had a few questions about this:

A) How did your AP Score compare to your SAT II score

B) What prep book is the best? (Amsco v. REA)

C) I heard last year it was the same, (with the SAT II the day after the AP Exam). Did anyone take the AP Exam on Friday, and the SAT II on Saturday? If so, what did you think/do the night after the AP Exam and before the SAT II?

A) I made a 4 on the AP test and a 770 on the SAT II. It was the essays that lowered my score on the AP (barely started my third essay due to poor time management).

B) The only prep book I bought was Kaplan, which was terrible! I mostly used my class notes to prep.

C) I did nothing in between because I had spent nine hours taking AP tests that week! I just needed to relax.

B) All I did was skim the PR book the week before the tests, and more importantly take a few practice AP MC sections (they don't take long at all and help you get a good idea of where you stand)

C) I did it, and all I thought about was what I was going to eat and how I had to get up so damn early on a Saturday

b) Just scanned Princeton Review the week before. Took tons and tons of practice AP exams. Than the night before the actual test I went to a dinner with the whole class and the teacher and than watched CSI. I don't think you should look at anything the night before.

c) Even though I took SAT II the day after I didn't do anything special the night before. Basically the AP exam is good enough prep for SAT II.

I think that taking it the day after is the smartest thing to do. Than you are done with it.

A) Got a 5 and a 780
B) REA is very comprehensive
c) I looked over a few of the topics I missed on the AP test and then relaxed the rest of the evening; it is important not to stress yourself out so much that you lose your concentration. Spread your studying out in the month or so before the AP test so you don't have to panic at the last minute.
