lol thanks slipstream :)

I highly recommend practice, timed exams of multiple-choice, but everyone is different. That was just a confidence builder for me. My class was taught by topic so every test for that topic had an essay in the same exact time frame as the AP.
~Other than some practice exams I didn't buy any extra books
~Like slipstream, I did not cram as much as I just attended study groups, similar set-up.

Again, good luck to future test-takers :)

i got a 4 on the AP test, and a 740 on the SAT II

I plan on retaking the AP, hopefully get a 5

You can retake AP tests?

I guess so, but its 85$, so I really only see it worth retaking if:
A) You are 100% sure you will get a higher score/5.
B) The College you plan to attend will not accept your current score for credit purposes.

I think a 4 is worth not going through the agony again.

hi do you guys think it'd be OK if i studied for the SAT II US History using the princeton review and REA AP review books? Or would it be better if I got a review book that was specifically designed for the SAT II?

Spoofy---

History is history is history is history.

Just take some practice SAT IIs (they don't take long, and they're kind of fun) so you can see the differences between questions and know what to expect.

I bought both REA for AP and SAT II History so i could get some practice tests since they each have different ones (yet the material covered is really close except I noticed the AP goes a little more in depth).

does SAT II focus more on the terms and treaties and important events

OR

does it ask questions about the evolutionary history of US and general questions-- like the AP Exam.

The former.

Sweeeet

i hate the general history, and trends and stuff..it's soo hard
..beacuse it requires thinking and analysis and understanding

events/SATII only require memory, which is good
